Information We Process

NovaTrend processes information needed to operate the Shopify store and the connected TikTok integration. This may include Shopify product information, product images, product links, inventory status, pricing, content plans, TikTok account identifiers, TikTok post identifiers, post status, and performance metrics.

When TikTok is connected, authorization tokens may be stored securely so the authorized account owner can create, schedule, publish, and measure approved TikTok content from the private NovaTrend dashboard.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to prepare product marketing content, generate captions and hashtags, manage approved content workflows, publish or schedule posts when approved, track performance, and provide reporting inside Shopify Admin.

Information Sharing

NovaTrend does not sell TikTok user data, customer personal information, Shopify product data, or supplier information. Information is shared only with service providers and platforms needed to operate the requested workflow, including Shopify, TikTok, hosting providers, and authorized automation services.

Private Supplier and Profit Data

Private supplier data such as CJ Dropshipping cost price, shipping cost, total landed cost, supplier name, profit, profit margin, AI score, CJ URL, and CJ product ID stays private inside Shopify Admin and the NovaTrend AI dashboard. This information is not shown to storefront customers or public visitors.

Data Retention and Security

NovaTrend keeps operational records only as long as needed for store management, content publishing, analytics, compliance, and troubleshooting. Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect account tokens, private product data, and reporting information.

Account Control

The authorized store owner can disconnect TikTok or remove the Shopify app access through the relevant Shopify or TikTok account settings. Disconnecting an account stops future authorized actions from that account.
